Connect to School

బడి కోసం మనందరం

Connect to School links donors with government schools in Andhra Pradesh that have listed a specific need. Citizens, non-resident Indians and companies can fund a named school directly rather than contributing to a general pool.

What this site currently shows

This build lists 122 schools across 31 districts. Every figure on the site is computed from those records, so nothing on screen overstates what the platform actually holds. Schools are added as their facility data is verified.

How it works

  • School records originate in UDISE+, the school data system maintained by the Ministry of Education. Each school is identified by its UDISE code.
  • A school profile lists what the school has and what it has asked for, with an estimated cost per need where one has been recorded.
  • Donations are made against a named school and a listed need.
  • Donors may also pledge physical items such as books, desks or computers instead of money.

Data

Facility information reflects the most recent verified UDISE+ record for each school. Where a figure cannot be verified, it is not shown.

Common questions

Where does my donation go?
By default, contributions are credited to the State Program Account. If you select a school before payment, your contribution is credited to that school's SMC Account instead.
What does choosing a need do?
It sets the amount you give. Choosing needs tells us what a school has asked for, but funds are not earmarked against individual items.
What is a UDISE code?
The identifier for a school in the Unified District Information System for Education, the school data system maintained by the Ministry of Education. Every school on this site is listed by its UDISE code so you can be sure which school you are looking at.
Why do some schools show no photographs?
Because a photograph of that particular school is not available yet. Showing a picture of somewhere else would misrepresent the school you are being asked to fund, so we show none until we have the real thing.
